FAITHFULNESS OF GOD

FAITHFULNESS OF GOD

“I, even I, am the Lord, and there is no savior besides Me. It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, and there was no strange god among you; so you are My witnesses, declares the Lord, and I am God. Even from eternity I am He, and there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?”

Isaiah 43:11-13

Wow, that’s a mouthful! But don’t worry, we don’t need to be biblical scholars to understand what God is saying here. He’s basically reminding us that He’s the one and only God and that He’s been faithful to His people throughout history. And let’s be real, we could all use some faithfulness in our lives. Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes it feels like everything is falling apart. But the good news is that God is always there for us, even when we don’t feel it.

Think about it this way: have you ever had a friend who was always there for you, no matter what? Maybe they listened to you vent about your problems, or offered a helping hand when you needed it most. That’s the kind of friend God is. In fact, He’s an even better friend than that, because He’s perfect. He never gets tired of listening to us or annoyed with our problems. He’s always patient, always kind, always faithful.

And Isaiah 43:11-13 is not just some feel-good message. It’s the truth. The Bible is full of stories of God’s faithfulness to His people. He delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, even though it seemed impossible. He protected Daniel in the lion’s den, even though it seemed like certain death. He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins, even though we didn’t deserve it.

So, if you’re feeling discouraged or overwhelmed, remember that God is faithful. He’s got your back, no matter what. You can trust Him to see you through the hard times and celebrate with you in the good times. And if you’re not sure how to tap into that faithfulness, just ask Him. He’s always ready and willing to hear from us. You can pray something simple like, “God, I need You. Help me to trust You more.”

In conclusion, let’s take a moment to thank God for His faithfulness. It’s not something we can earn or deserve, but it’s a gift He freely gives us. And that’s something to be truly grateful for.
